It's the Audlem Fete today (30th August). (posted 30th August)

The White Lion Music Festival takes place today from 1:30 p.m, with Jody Jennings, Blozone, Faye McCallum, Dan Goodwin, Afterglow and Morigans Bow. (posted 29th August)

Fire chiefs have issued another warning for people not to light open fires after battling another field fire off Windmill Lane. (posted 25th August)

There is a planned road closure of London Road in Stapeley, from First Dig Lane to Elwood Way, from 20th - 27th August. It is apparently for "Micro-resurfacing" between the hours of 8:00 a,m,. and 4:00 p.m. You can find out more by following the map link on the Cheshire East Roadworks Page and selecting "next two weeks". According to an article on Nantwich News, there has been a meeting involving Rachel Bailey (our ward councillor) about drivers using rural lanes to bypass the Baddington Bridge closure. (posted 19th August)

The Cheshire East roadworks page. is showing Old School Lane as being closed on the 18th August, and Hunsterson Road in Hatherton on the same date. (posted 15th August)

The White Lion will be closed today (15th) and next Saturday (22nd) for weddings. (posted 15th August)

Residents are invited to help shape Cheshire East’s future through Local Plan Community Assembly, and they are also asking for help to create a new historical archive of women’s and girls’ lives this summer. (posted 6th August)

Unfortunately the expected fly-past by the Battle of Britain Memorial Flight for the Tramsport Festival had to be cancelled because of the weather conditions. (posted 27th July)

The Battle of Britain Memorial Flight will be coming over Audlem  on Sunday afternoon (26th) at about 1:18 p.m., weather permitting and of course it's the Transport Festival. There is a BBC report about the transport festival here.(posted 19th July, updated 25th)

There was a large blaze in fields at Hunsterton on Thursday afternoon (the 16th) (posted 19th July)

 Cheshire East have posted "Food waste caddies make their way to residents as start of new weekly recycling service nears", and they are reminding residents to check their voter registration details to ensure they can vote. (posted 2nd July)
